What Will We Be Mixing Up?
Love Potion No.28 This enchanting cocktail combines the smoothness of vodka* with rich raspberry notes and the tartness of cranberry. Shaken over ice and served in a highball glass, it's garnished with a lime wedge for a zesty finish. The Love Potion No. 28 is a delightful choice for romantic occasions or special celebrations. Pairing it with chocolate and nutty flavors to complement the drink's fruity profile. Yellow Rose of Texas Martini A tribute to the Lone Star State, this martini features vodka* harmoniously blended with fresh lemon juice and simple syrup, creating a balanced sweet-tart flavor. Shaken over ice and strained into a martini glass, it's garnished with a lemon wedge for a citrusy aroma. The Yellow Rose of Texas Martini is a refreshing choice for warm evenings or gatherings with friends. Enjoy it alongside your favorite sweet and sour candies to amplify the tangy and sweet notes of the cocktail. Dark and Stormy Mocktail This non-alcoholic rendition of the classic Dark and Stormy offers a layered visual appeal and a spicy-sweet flavor profile. Starting with a base of ginger beer mixed with simple syrup in a highball or old-fashioned glass filled with ice, cola is carefully floated on top to create a 'stormy' dark layer. The result is a refreshing mocktail with a ginger kick and a hint of sweetness. Pairing it with peppermint patties or dark chocolate bars complements the drink's spiciness and adds a cooling minty contrast. * - May be substituted with a non-alcoholic option for a mocktail experience. |

Dinner with a Pharmacist
Dinner with a Pharmacist is an initiative partnering the Gulf Coast Society of Health-System Pharmacists with local pharmacy schools to expose pharmacy students in a small-group setting (typically 5-10 students) to pharmacists from various backgrounds, specialties, and institutions. It is a chance for students to network and ask questions to help decide on a career path.
The form linked is for pharmacists to sign up to be contacted to have dinner with a small group of interested students. Student sign-ups to participate will be sent out later in the year via their respective schools.
