Dr. Deyhim is currently a Pharmacy Administrative Specialist at Houston Methodist Hospital and serves as the Pharmacist in Charge over Houston Methodist Continuing Care Hospital&nbsp; &#8211; Texas Medical Center. She also serves as Vice-President on the Texas A&amp;M University Rangel College of Pharmacy Alumni Association Board of Directors.&nbsp;She completed a two-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency program at Houston Methodist Hospital with concurrent pursuit of a Master of Science in Pharmacy Leadership and Administration at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. The requirements that Dr. Deyhim fulfilled during her residency program and graduate degree curriculum solidified her clinical, operations, and administrative foundations, thereby providing the tools to advance pharmacy practice. Her long-term goals are to create meaningful and enduring pharmacy services that improve patient care and inspire future generations of pharmacists. Johnson Hospital with Harris Health. Dr. Adil did his undergraduate coursework in Information Systems and pre-pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin and went on to graduate from UT with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2018. After graduation, he completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Adil has been extensively involved with SSHP as a student and scholarship recipient, AASHP as a co-chair of&nbsp;web&nbsp;communications and with TSHP as a member of the Educational Affairs, Clinical Practice and Residency Excellence committees. In her role as an ILM, she assists faculty in the clinical skills lab setting with&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;and setting up lab beforehand. She also works directly with Pharm.D. students via select teaching and evaluation responsibilities.&nbsp;Specializing in&nbsp;IV validation and having ten years of hospital experience, Leslie uses her experience&nbsp;to&nbsp;help students in learning vital parts of inpatient pharmacy practice skills.&nbsp;Her goal is to ensure that students have a better understanding of how the world after pharmacy school looks.&nbsp;Leslie has been able to put her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences&nbsp;earned from&nbsp;Grand Canyon University to effective use. Over the years,&nbsp;Leslie\u2019s strengths at&nbsp;Memorial Hermann at the Texas Medical Center have garnered some recognition for IV validations. The Pharm.D.&nbsp;students&#8217; welcoming smiles keep her going and inspire Leslie in her work.&nbsp;When she\u2019s not at&nbsp;University of Houston College of Pharmacy, Leslie&nbsp;is an avid&nbsp;foodie&nbsp;and loves spending time&nbsp;traveling with her family. She went on to complete an ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and PGY-2 Internal Medicine residency at Ascension Seton. In August 2021, she joined The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist of Hospital Medicine. In this role she works inpatient to optimize the pharmacotherapy of solid tumor patients admitted for complications of cancer and cancer treatment. Outside of clinical practice, Ashley serves as the Regional Health-System Coordinator for UTCOP in the Galveston\/Houston Region where she facilitates experiential learning experiences for fourth year pharmacy students. Telyssa also serves as the residency program coordinator for the PGY2 Oncology Residency program. She graduated with a doctorate in Pharmacology at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, with a 4.0 GPA. Her PhD research focused on the use of Gleevac (a kinase inhibitor) in the treatment of breast cancer. Her work resulted in several publications and her article in \u201cCancer Research\u201d was featured in the magazine cover. As a pharmacist, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to improve the quality of life of her patients. She is fortunate to have had the opportunity to establish an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at St. Luke\u2019s Brazosport and serve as the co-chair since 2016. During her tenure in this role, she created a multidisciplinary team to optimize antibiotic utilization. Divya started her leadership role as Manager in the thick of the COVID pandemic in May 2020. currently a PRN clinical pharmacist at Houston Methodist Willowbrook and HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. She received her PharmD from Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2023, followed by a PGY1 residency at Houston Methodist Willowbrook. Before and during pharmacy school, Faith worked as a hospital pharmacy technician for over 20 years and served in various specialized technician roles, such as pharmacy buyer and automation administrator. Faith joined GCSHP in 2015 and has been serving in various capacities ever since. Throughout her time with the organization, she has held roles as Technician Chair, Membership Engagement Committee member, Membership Committee member, and now as Membership Co-Chair. Faith also received the 2017 Mike Knapp Pharmacy Technician Award and the 2024 Leo F. and Ann Godley Residency Fellowship Award. In her current role, she steers research, staff development, and education for the pharmacy department. She is also oversees the transitions of care team and Meds to Beds programs. She is actively involved in professional organizations and is currently the Chair of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Transitions of Care SIG Communications Committee and a member of the Education Steering Committee for the ASHP Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners.&nbsp; Additionally, she serves as the Chair of the TSHP Membership and Communications Council and Co-Chair of the TSHP Government Affairs Council and is a member of the Texas Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (TSHP) Board of Directors. Her journey into pharmacy is deeply personal. As someone who has had to overcome significant life challenges, including aging out of foster care without traditional family support, Sally understands how important access, advocacy, and compassionate healthcare can be for patients who feel overlooked by the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through her experiences in community pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, prior authorizations, and patient-centered care, Sally has seen firsthand how barriers such as cost, transportation, insurance issues, and limited health literacy can affect patient outcomes. These experiences have strengthened her desire to become a pharmacist who does more than dispense medications. She wants to be a resource, an advocate, and a voice for patients who need someone to fight for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a member of SSHP, Sally is committed to professional growth, residency readiness, pharmacy advocacy, and creating opportunities for students to explore careers in health-system pharmacy.
